Cycling Holiday in Denmark
Cycling holidays in Denmark are blossoming again. The joy of traveling through the country on your bicycle while enjoying the freedom without material distractions is attractive to many Danes.
Henne Strand Resort, as a cycling holiday destination, is a delightful experience. The area is blessed with many cycling paths, allowing you to explore every nook and cranny.
Furthermore, we always strive to create the best environment for our guests on cycling holidays. And we are, of course, also a Bed+Bike partner.
As a Bed+Bike partner, we live up to the ADFC’s quality requirements, which include secure storage of bicycles, the opportunity to dry your clothes and gear, information about local cycling routes, and a healthy meal when you wake up in the morning.
Cycling Routes in Jutland
In Denmark, 27 different so-called Panorama routes have been established – particularly attractive cycling routes. In Jutland, you will find 16 of them, all signposted in accordance with Danish road regulations.
At Henne Strand, we present the "Filsø" route. "Filsø" is one of the Panorama routes, guiding you through nature and the area's cultural and historical landmarks. You can pick up a route description at our reception.
Henne Strand Resort is also located in the middle of the new national cycling route "West Coast Route," which runs from Tønder to Skagen. So, whether you are passing through or wish to "set up camp" for a longer period, both you and your bikes are very welcome.
Additionally, there are ample opportunities to cycle on the beach, in the forests, and in the plantations. It is permitted to cycle on all paths and forest roads.

MTB camping
Mountain bike routes in challenging surroundings. In Blåbjerg Plantage, there are three mountain bike routes of varying lengths: the green route is 4 km, the black route is 7 km, and the white “marathon route” is 13 km. It's easy to find your way as the routes are marked with signs in the three colors, and all routes start from the parking lot at Blåbjerg itself.
