Once again this year, Henne Strand Camping and Resort has been awarded Superplatz by the German ADAC's camping portal. At the same time, the owners, Tina and Peder Kristensen, along with their team, are busy transforming and developing new initiatives at the site itself.
“Of course, we are happy and proud to receive this distinguished and prestigious award again, which thereby marks us as one of Europe's best camping resorts,” say Tina and Peder.
Henne Strand Camping and Resort has received the award as one of three sites in Denmark based on ADAC's user reviews on the camping portal PINCAMP. Here, Henne Strand Camping and Resort achieved a top 5 placement in Denmark and a top 100 placement in Europe. The designation as Superplatz is based on an inspection of facilities and the area by ADAC and an assessment of guest satisfaction.
Guests and employees go hand in hand
“We would never have achieved this recognition without the support of our guests. However, we would like to emphasize that the most important prerequisite for this happening is our skilled employees. It is they who ensure the guests' positive experiences from arrival to departure,” say Tina and Peder.
Development plans have been initiated
At the same time as the designation as Superplatz, Henne Strand Camping and Resort is in the middle of a development process that includes several new initiatives, all matching the place's well-known connoisseur theme. “Both our guests and we need new initiatives to continue creating development at our resort. Therefore, we have several projects on the drawing board. Three of them are already in full swing and allow our guests to live out their inner connoisseur,” explain Tina and Peder.
Increased rental capacity
This involves a significant expansion of the rental capacity. At the moment, nine new Nature Suites 3.0 are being established. Elegant, well-appointed lodges in the familiar round design with their own spa, sauna, and large lovely terrace. Like the other lodges, they will be furnished with functional and beautiful furniture and interior in extra good quality, making the stay special.
From café to brasserie
At the same time, craftsmen have started a major expansion and renovation of the café and lounge area, Brasserie HAV. It is now becoming a brasserie with greater capacity and more opportunities for both the site's and the town's guests. The familiar and cozy atmosphere and decor are being continued, now with another upgrade.
Finally, Villa Play is being renovated, both indoors and outdoors, with new play equipment and a playhouse. Here, children – perhaps together with parents or grandparents – can have fun and let the inner child run free.
